Our mission statement at Fox Run Animal Hospital is Your Pet’s Health is Our Top Priority. In a very real sense, that is how we run every aspect of our hospital. For instance:
- During the pandemic when most veterinary clinics were turning people away, we extended our hours, added staff, and since Dr. Findora is an experienced ER doctor, we left 2 appointments open and received drop-off emergencies every day to provide urgent / emergency care to our service area*.
- This service continues to save our neighbors the crushing expense of an emergency hospital visit.
- On the rare occasion we need to transfer your pet to an emergency hospital for hospitalization, your cost for diagnosis and treatment is greatly reduced.
- We were one of the first veterinarians in our service area* to provide laser therapy, which speeds recovery after surgery and aids in decreasing or eliminating the chronic pain of arthritis.
- We were one of the first veterinarians in our service area* to offer Solensia and Librela as an alternative to chronic NSAID medication that can be difficult to give to your pet and may have side effects.
- Our equipment uses current technology, and we assign personnel to its regular in-house maintenance along with having a specialist who comes in regularly to update software and ensure everything is operating according to specification. This includes:
- Digital x-rays that fully integrate into your pet’s medical record.
- Digital dental x-ray equipment so Dr. Feliciano always gets to the root of the problem.
- Ultrasound and a host of lab equipment that does bloodwork, urine and fecal analysis.
- Laser therapy to speed recovery after all surgeries, whether a spay, neuter, wound care, removing a tumor or a foreign object, performing an amputation, or extracting a tooth, as well as regular laser therapy treatments to alleviate or eliminate on-going, chronic pain.
- And even an old-fashioned microscope because sometimes the human eye sees more than a computer.
- An in-house pharmacy so your pet goes home with the medication it needs after surgery, as well as stocking prevention and both core and recommended vaccines.
- Rabies vaccination is required under Michigan law.
- DAP (Distemper Adenovirus Parvovirus) is a core vaccine for these highly contagious and potentially lethal diseases.
- Most boarding facilities and groomers require the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine.
- Lyme disease is caused by ticks, which are miniscule, easy to miss and found everywhere.
- Leptospirosis (Lepto) is a zoonotic disease, which means it can be transmitted to humans.
- Our vets and techs are experienced. In conjunction with our diagnostic equipment, we are experts at diagnosing underlying causes to provide effective, and often life-saving treatment.
- Kennel cough, bladder stones, heartworms, seizures, ulcers, anxiety, swelling, glands, Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), itching, diarrhea, tumors and infections whether in the ear, leg or paw.
- Diagnosing correctly the first time provides care that is cost effective.
- Use our complimentary insurance comparison service at www.foxrunanimalhospital.com. Pet insurance is particularly helpful when purchased while your pet is a puppy or kitten, and for most breeds, insurance can save a considerable amount of money over the life of your pet.
- We accept all major credit cards without the additional service charge that many other vet centers apply to your bill.
- Our front desk can show you how to apply for CareCredit or Scratchpay while you are at the hospital with your pet.
- CareCredit is a line of credit that can be used for any medical expense that often has no-interest promotions (so long as it is paid in full within the stated timeframe).
- Scratchpay is a low-cost loan specific to veterinarian medicine.
- Ask us about our Military/Veteran and Senior Citizen discounts.
- Fox Run is the best full-service clinic in our service area*.
- Not only do we provide your dog or cat with their regular wellness exam and urgent/emergency service, Dr. Findora is a skilled surgeon and Dr. Dunckel has extensive surgical experience with Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) surgery to treat Cranial Crucial Ligament (ACL) injury.
- We service small animals (dogs, cats, puppies, kittens), pocket pets (hamsters, Guinea pigs, ferrets), and pet poultry (chickens, roosters, ducks, turkeys).
